Take the ACC Train

The Brunswick High School Band Boosters would like to thank ALL of our participating high school bands, directors, and staff that came from seven counties in Maryland and from West Virginia to make this competition a resounding success! We look forward to having you back on board the ACC train next year!

We would like to thank booster member John Morin for taking pictures of all bands during the evening's festivities. Please click on the school links below to see pictures of your band!

We would also like to again extend a BIG, BIG thank you to Kevin and Pam McCarthy. Despite having no kids in the band, they assumed a major role in this year’s show. We could not have done it without you! Thanks so much!!!

The Brunswick High School Band Boosters were very pleased to have the Paint Branch High Marching Panthers perform in exhibition at our show this year. We would like to especially thank band director Sean Kirchhoff for bringing the Marching Panthers to Brunswick High!

We were delighted to once again have the Shepherd University Ram Band perform their field show at our competition. What a fun and energizing show that was! Thanks so much to Dr. Mark McCoy, Director of Bands, and John Karos, Shepherd Drum Major and Assistant Director of the Marching Railroaders, for showing us how much fun it is to be in a college marching band!

Lastly, we would like to again thank Phyllis and Justin Howard for establishing the Jessica Howard Memorial Fund so that, through the generous donations of family and friends, we were able to purchase a beautiful new set of chimes for our Marching Railroader Band. Jessica, a 2006 BHS graduate, was a very talented and well loved member of the BHS Band Family. Jessica loved all music, and was a member of our percussion section. She played in the pit and also took part in the Indoor Drumline. On March 17, 2007, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, Jessica passed away. We were honored to have Phyllis and Justin with us as we dedicated the new chimes in memory of their daughter and sister and our friend. We miss you, Jessica! For pictures of the chimes dedication and presentations of trophies, please see our photo album of the Awards Ceremony.
